If you need to mark a unit as unrentable and remove it from available units while it is vacant, you can easily do so from the Unit Notes section. Additionally, if you know an occupied unit needs to be marked Unrentable when a tenant vacates it, you can do so during move-out. This saves you the time of using the Modify Units screen to mark the unit as unrentable.

To mark a unit as unrentable from the Unit Notes section of SiteLink Web Edition:

  1. From SiteLink Web Edition, select Company from the left side menu.
  2. Select Unit Notes.

  3. On the next screen, select a unit and click Edit.

  4. In the pop-up, check the box next to Unrentable and click OK.

After you’ve marked this unit as Unrentable, it will no longer be available for rent until the issue with it is resolved at your facility. When it’s rentable again, you can use the Modify Units screen to remove the unrentable status.

To mark a unit as unrentable at move-out in SiteLink Web Edition:

  1. Begin processing the move-out in SiteLink Web Edition.
  2. In the bottom left corner of the screen, check the box next to Unrentable.

  3. Continue processing the move-out.

After the move-out is complete, the unit will no longer be available for rent until the issue with it is resolved at your facility. When it’s rentable again, you can use the Modify Units screen to remove the unrentable status.
