Q. If we currently have a website, how would a Progressive Web App (PWA) work with it?
A. You would have to add the PWA separately to your existing website. It could be a button or link on your web page that would open up directly to the PWA.

Q. Is there a difference between reservations and rentals online, and how does that work?
A. Yes there is a difference. When you make a reservation, you’re simply holding the unit and not actually making a purchase. Most stores have found that it’s better to complete the entire rental process. When it’s a reservation, you’ll still have to follow up with the customer and then close the sale. As an operator, you want to take the tenant off the market so they don’t have the opportunity to shop around more.

Q. Does The Storage Group offer a PWA service without me having to change my current website provider?
A. Yes, our progressive web app ClickandStor™ can be added to any website regardless of website provider.

Q. Does a PWA track how many units are rented online with a mobile device?
A. Yes, you would get this information. If you are using ClickandStor with a Storage Group website, our dashboard will show all these stats for you to review at any time.

Q. Who handles the shipping of products using eCommerce? I like the idea of not putting more work on our staff.
A. If you use ClickandStor 3.0, we have certain vendors that we’ve partnered with–they will ship, track, and completely fulfill all eCommerce orders for you.

Q. Are PWA push notifications only available on a smartphone? Can I get them on a desktop and laptops?
A. Yes, PWA push notifications will go to any device. That’s one of the benefits of a PWA. Also, you can send it out to an entire group, such as all your tenants. Or, send just to one person such as a delinquent tenant.

Q: We use ClickandStor currently on our website. Are you saying that in the future, tenants will be able to load their ID on ClickandStor and we will receive it?
A. Yes, tenants will be able to load their IDs for the owner/manager's of the facility to keep on file.

Q. Is there any way to download a demo of your PWA?
A. Yes, we have a demo available and a video as well. An instructional video will also be available soon. Please contact The Storage Group directly on trying the demo.
