Lease Documents

Is it possible to have a lease in sitelink for in-house rentals and a separate lease for when new tenant rent online?  I have my website through Storable.  The reason I am asking is if someone comes in the office, we can collect the information and have it via KEYWORDS added to the lease.  If someone rents online then it does not collect all the required information, and we could set it up as keyword text boxes to collect the information needed.  For example, Social Security numbers, DOB, DL Number.

Also for my outside parking space I need to add a separate vehicle addendum.  How do you handle this?

Sitelink has several leases available. Setup, form setup, edit lease 2 or 3 or whichever and make that your in-house.

exactly what themage said.  What I was caught up on is, do you require a social security number?  What state are you in?   Just curious if this is normal requirement.  I have never heard of requiring a social security number for a self storage rental and I have been doing this for over 24 years.  Myself personally would never give my social security # to rent a storage unit.

@Self_Storage_Life We have a vehicle addendum. We just created it as a separate form / letter and set it as "optional" for move in availability. This does mean it is not automatically included for online rentals. You could include it in the online lease and make sure it is obvious that section only applies to parking spaces.

Our tenants would refuse to supply their social security number. Around here, at least, the only use for it would be to run a credit check or to report to credit agencies, which we don't do.

We have Lease #1 for storage units and Lease #2 for parking which I embedded the Parking Addendum to the bottom of the lease.  Then assign the unit type to the correct lease. This will apply the correct agreement even online.  We DO NOT require SS#.
