I took a walk in reservation, but i can not take a cash payment for it?

I am new to web edition. I had a walk in and they made a reservation for a size I do not currently have open, so he wanted to reserve one. Figured out how to make the rteservation but can not get sitelink to take a cash payment.
When I set up the program cash payment was one of the options I checked, and went and double checked. The sitelink also says when making a reservation it will ask for payment when you hit save, but it did not. Please help.

Hi @70mc, It sounds like you may need to set up a reservation fee in SiteLink. Steps 1-5 of the following article will walk you through how to do that. On Step 3, select Reservation Fee: https://support.sitelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/4419494654615-Tenant-charges

Are you going through Lead to Lease. Gather all their information. Select the storage unit. On the schedule portion, click on walk-in (or phone, etc) for orientation, then click reservation on sales section. Choose date they need it, and click save. It will ask if you want to save info, and then next it will ask if you want to take a reservation fee. Clock yes. Enter your fee amount, then OK. And it should come up with the payment window, where you can do card or a cash transaction. I just did it as I was typing this response, and everything went through just fine.

I followed the steps you both mentioned, like I said in my post, "I figured out how to do a reservation" it let me do everything but take a payment. AND WHEN I CLICKED SAVE IT DID NOT ASK FOR A PAYMENT, but it did save the reservation.
