Apply new monthly recurring fee to existing tenants

We are implementing a new security features both digital and physical and wish to apply a new monthly fee to EXISTING tenants (as well as new incoming tenants) but there seems to be no way to mass-apply a system-wide recurring fee to existing tenants. Anyone have any ideas or workarounds?

Couldn't this be added under 'setup', select 'charges'. I believe if you add it on under one of the 'recurring fees' and just make sure you name it, then click box to add it at 'move in'. Unfortunately I believe you would have to go into existing tenant accounts under edit payment & Charges and add it there once you have it set up. It may be a little time consuming as I don't know a quicker way to add it to existing tenants but I believe it could be done.

Yes this is the situation we face - it's a huge time-suck for our site managers who each have thousands of existing tenants to update manually (all while dealing with calls, customers and urgent daily tasks). Too bad; this seems like an obvious feature SiteLink should have...? Hopefully they can consider it, as we did have a session with them on this topic once we realized the workload required for this.
