Raccoons in the house - true story! Any unwanted visitors in your facility?

So my neighbor gets regular visits from a raccoon if she forgets to close her cat door at night. I know, yikes! But with all the nooks and crannies, propped doors, and careless customers, have you ever been surprised by an unwanted creature?

If bats like attics, they may just like a storage unit too...1

When we ran a facility close to the beach in Florida I had the joy of reporting to my boss "I've got crabs!", then after his *uhhhhh* response I sent him a nice picture of a couple small crabs scooting across the floor in our climate hallway.

We had a baby skunk sleeping in our hallway next to the hallway roll up door. It took us a while to motivate it to leave0

Baby skunks are so cute! But only when they are outdoors...0

Had a retired Dentist move out of the climate control one day. Went back to check on him (he's up in years) and he had already left. Lock was removed and door closed. I opened the door and there was a LARGE black cat sitting there with its back arched and snarling like I was going to be its next meal. I jumped and after several skipped heart beats I noticed it was a Halloween prop. I called the dentist and told him I found his cat he left. He thought that was the funniest thing he had done in years. Told me to keep it and I could have fun with someone later down the road.

Had a snake in the office bathroom once. That was a fun day...1

Raccoons are easy to get rid of. A can of cat food and a wire cage trap and you will catch a raccoon every day. I know. I did it. Birds are hard to get rid of. Any suggestions?0

However, I know they are the ones stealing the bait out of our mouse bait boxes. I have seen snakes, spiders, lizards, etc. around the property tho. The last location I was at we had birds. Maintenance had to seal off the flashing in the unit doors and panels so they couldn't get in. They finally all left, mad lol. But sheesh, while they were there, there was quite a bit of purple splat everywhere yuk
