GREENSBORO — Developer Roy Carroll is “pumping the brakes” on his self-storage plans in certain Southeastern markets because he thinks the industry is overbuilt in some places.
Carroll said Tuesday that he has decided not to develop a four-acre site at the corner of Wendover Avenue and Tarrant Road where he had planned to build a Bee Safe Storage and Wine Cellar self-storage store.
