Sales Tax Rate Change in Florida

How is everyone going to handle this change.  If I change my sales tax % January 1, 2017 any delinquent rent paid for prior months will be undercharged. Any suggestions?

I don't think it would apply to prior charges. Those delinquent accounts already have the charges on the account. In essence that would be like sending a rate increase to someone who's already paid up into the future and telling them you are going to force them to pay the increase on the months they've already paid up for.
