Has Sight Link ever offered a web training on how to make zip files for desk top documents?

That's not a sitelink process so I doubt they would post a guide for it. But it's simple. Just alt-click on the icon and hit the options as the picture below shows. If you have multiple files hold Control while you are clicking each one.
