Clearing Default Gate Codes from Tenant and Reports

When entering a new tenant, Gate Code is Automatically Generated. "Make Random Gate Code"  (green field, required)

Can we set up a preference that does Not require or generate Gate Codes?  

We have not had Gate Code access in the past, but now, with our new Climate Controlled Units, we will be creating individual 4 digit door codes and would like to have that in the Gate Code field, and have all the previous or future Automatic Generated Gate Access Codes removed?

(when we pull up Gate Code Reports, there are 9 pages of Gate Codes and we have Zero in use, creating a lot of unnecessary clutter in gate Code reports.
When we start giving out Gate Codes, we would like to Not have all the random gate codes in the report, as they are moot)

Can we delete and stop the Random Gate Codes?

I found out from Tech Support it can not be done.
