If you have already set up your scanner and are getting that message after your computer has been on a little while, we have found a glitch in windows 10 that somehow locks up the windows scanner driver (WIA) and wont let us scan unless we reboot or turn that driver off and back on. It effects all of our computers, so we made an automatic task that stops and restarts the WIA Service every hour.
