ADDING DISCOUNT TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD A DISCOUNT TO AN EXISTING CUSTOMER, IF THEY HAVE BEEN IN FOR AWHILE AND KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO BE HERE FOR AWHILE LONGER WE HAVE A PAY FOR 6 MONTHS, GET THE 7TH FREE DISCOUNT WE WOULD LIKE TO DO THAT FOR THEM.  IS THIS POSSIBLE?

    Absolutely! You cannot do it for the months they have already been there, but you can add it for the months going forward. 
    Payments>select tenant>Make Future Changes>Edit Charges and Payments>Select discount plan

    The discounts need to have been set up to be used "everywhere" and not just for move-in.  Otherwise, you can't add it to an existing customer.

    Right in the middle of the payment screen, directly above the ID photo.  It's a check box, and you can select how many months of future charges to add.

    You can also go into "Edit Charges and Payments" and click on "Add" in the Periods section instead of "Make future charges" :)
