eSign "500 Internal Server Error"

I am working on implementing online rentals.  My testing with eDocuments will work if signed through Sitelink.  But when emailed it says An error occurred: 500 Internal Server Error. 
Any suggestions?  I have spent so much time getting the Lease set up in Forms and this is the last little piece of the puzzle.  I want to get it working!

    Did you set it as RTF or HTML... ours is set RTF and works well when we email it.

    From support: The 500 Internal Error is common error, This error usually happens because during the process when that document is generated there was a connection issue. If you receive this error and a simple refresh does not fix this issue.Please void out the document and recreate it by going to company and forms, selecting the tenant and then processing the document again.
