need help adding merchendice

I sold locks to a customer already in  a unit for some reason I cant add merchandise while into her account I have always done this by the ledger and it will not let me not sure what I'm doing wrong please any help thanks Diane

    When you are on the customer payment page, on the bottom right it says Add Merchandise.  Add and save it, then process the payment as usual.

    That option is not on this customers for some reason

    Ah I just figured out how to fix it thank you

    I guess I should add (for anyone in the future that may have this issue), if they have multiple units, you have to select a single unit at the top left first.  Then you can add the merchandise.
