Changing inventory shipment

Ugh .. so I accepted the shipment into our inventory then got the call from the other site that they wanted to change how we enter the items - to a transfer instead of me just entering as a shipment>>> anyone know if I can delete/edit the original entry so I can make it a transfer ??
