Multiple Unit tenant locked out

A tenant with 2 units called and wanted to add a third space.  Called Monday and said they wanted to start it on Wednesday.  I did a Future Move in with date of 7/22.  He showed up yesterday and was denied access at gate.  Came in paid for third unit and completed e sign docs.  Still didn't readmit.  Couldn't change the move in date because I had already completed transaction.  Hindsight I should have done a reservation instead of Future Move in. I changed ledger setting to never lock out at gate and it readmitted.  Guess I need to check set up for gate access for multi unit tenants.  I really don't understand the choices but do remember tech support changing a few of those settings when remoted in about a month ago.

    Yes, in the gate setup there are options:  

    Mode 0:  Gate is locked if past due, unit-by-unit
    Mode 1:  If one or more units are past due, the gate is locked for all units
    Mode 2:  If one or more units are NOT past due, the gate is unlocked for all units
