Is it possible to link units when you're moving them in from lead to lease or do you have to move them in and then link them?

    Yes, you can.
When you add them into lead to lease, be sure to use the search function to find the existing tenant first instead of "Add New". From L2L, hit the Move In tab, confirm the unit and existing tenant info, save, commit transaction, take your payment, and they will be linked automatically.

You just have to be sure that when the reservation is made, it's made using the existing tenant info and not by adding a new tenant.  As long as it's done that way, the units will be linked after the move in is complete.

You can use your map to double click the unit and then in upper right click Edit Reservation. In the Customer Name put their last name in the box and Search.  Their current unit should show up in black and if you double click that line it will link and update their address information in the reservation.  Then you are done and can move them in.
