Online Payment Problem

Several customers are having trouble going online and making a payment. There are several error messages. The most common error message was that the unit number was incorrect. Then they are unable to make the online payment. Is this a normal error to have? For example her unit number is R9 she puts that in and it says its an error. How do I fix this?

We have had numerous problems with customers trying to make pmts at different times. But, I end up referring the problem to our corporate office and they deal with connecting to the person who can fix this.0
