Revenue Management

We are currently using the system to auto-generate 30-day notification letters of upcoming rate increases based on certain criteria.  We would also like to email each customer a copy of the letter in addition to sending via USPS.  Unfortunately, the system seems to allow only one option - EITHER email OR print the letter, then the auto-generated list disappears.  The only way we are able to identify the list is by printing it first, then manually sending emails to each customer through Forms.  Is there a way to select BOTH email and print simultaneously, or at least refresh the list so we can choose a follow-up option?

A quicker way is to go to the Pending Tenant Rate Changes Screen.  Then if you have a lot of then, sort by Effective Date. The group of what you just printed will be batched together and you just click those and email.  It's much faster and easier than using the Forms option.

Even though it's not ideal, that solution works well.  Thanks MamaDuke.

@ScottP You have one other option.  If you do the letters at the same time as you accept the rate changes (rather than scheduling ahead), you click "Accept Pending Rate Changes & Process Notices." From there you can mail and email all together like you can with other letters.

Thanks for your help! I was just looking for a way to notify our customers about the upcoming changes. Unfortunately, we have to raise the prices due to inflation, and according to the contract, we have to notify the customers 30 before the changes are applied by email and regular mail.
We made some revenue predictions last month, and it turned out we will not have enough revenue to cover the expenses soon, and that’s why we’re forced to apply the changes. You can read more about the revenue prediction strategy we used online. Hopefully, it will be the last rise in prices for the following years.
