When you transfer tenant from one unit (with insurance) to a smaller unit, how does the insurance on the current unit get transferred, or does it?

The process is done automatically by sitelink in the transfer option. It transfers and will be accounted for in the credits issued.0

Unit size alone should not affect insurance enrollment during a transfer. Whether or not Insurance transfers over depends on two things:
- whether or not the active Insurance plan is still available for new move-ins
- whether or not the new Unit Type is elligible for Insurance. Unit size should not affect insurance enrollments, but if a tenant is moving into a Unit Type that is not eligible for protection, the insurance will not transfer.
Hope that helps!5 -
