Cannot seem to find where there is any California regulation as to what can be charged for a pre-lien fee or a lien fee for that matter. Currently we have a $20.00 p-l fee and $100.00 (to start) lien fee.

The work to send each letter is the same, which is why the fee should be the same. Personally, I think $100 is excessive to send a letter, even certified. $25 for each seems to be average.0
