PTI Security and Open Tech Alliance Relationship?

In trying to raise someone at PTI for a gate problem left five voice mails on their website.  One vm responded in about 45 minutes.  She was from PTI.  Concluded my business and then received another vm response, this one from Open Tech.  The OT rep said he used to work for PTI but left due to their poor customer service.  I agreed.

Question - Are these two separate companies with the same line of business?
