How do I advance a paid through date?

I rented a unit and they paid for a year so I gave 1 mo off.  System only paid through Nov 2023 should be Dec 2023.  How do I advance the paid through date?

Add the charge for December and issue a credit.  That's the proper way to show the 1 month off and it will advance the PTD.
