My Gardening Attempt: Part 1

I just started gardening a few days ago and wanted to share my project! Here's my first (bungling) attempt!

I found this three-tiered "planter" at TJ Maxx and thought it would be great for flowers. Unfortunately, it's a little shallow and my poor plants didn't stand a chance against the wind. Here they are looking feeble and wind-swept:



See? The plants in the top two sections just plain fell over.

I took them out of the planter and moved them to a pot with more depth so their little roots can dig in and keep themselves standing upright and proud. Here they are looking very, very feeble:

I'll post more pictures as my project comes along! Let me know if you have any advice for a new gardener!

I love the planter! I can picture some long vines flowing down over the sides.
