work orders for Maintenance.

Why doesn't sitelink have an area for work to make work orders for each unit?  Or does it?

    Work orders?
There is the Service Required list.
IF you need a list with notes, you can run the "unit Notes" report and show unrentable units.

Our maintenance personnel watch the service required list in Sitelink and catch many issues during the regular walkthrough.

If you are using contractors or external sources, you could create a letter / form that would autofill the basic information, but you would still have to fill in the details about the work needed, I think.

I'm talking about where you can print out work orders that have been dated and as to when they were put in and when they were closed out.  So that you have a record of what has been done on the grounds, in the office, units etc..  We have several locations and only 2 maintenance guys.  Something that makes them accountable for what they have done and easy for them to look and see what needs to be done.

Sitelink is set up for tenants, rentals and payments, not with the focus of facility and maintenance.

I don't want to sound like a smartalec but if you have multiple sites and 2 maintenance guys It would probably be more beneficial to invest in some admin software for that. Sitelink has plenty of work arounds but to find EXACTLY what you are looking for is impossible. IF you are looking for a solution, you could make a form in excel and formulate it for ease of use. Go the company tab and click on Unit Notes, click on "Service Required" to filter them all in a bunch at the top, screen shot it or manually enter it into your work order form. As far as programming a letter via HTML for your Forms myself and another coworker program everything from scratch. It is TECHNICALLY doable but with the given keywords sitelink uses you would be unable to format it the way you're looking to. If this was an issue for my company I would immediately disperse an Excel formatted to what I wanted done, share it to a drop box and give my maintenance guys access.

If you need help setting up an Excel template or anything feel free to DM me.

Thank you Chris.  We are already using google docs for that.  Was hoping to have something more stream lined.  Thought maybe sitelink would have something I might be overlooking.

I was a career military guy before landing myself in the world of a real estate development company. We used to use a program called SKED. made work order styled maintenance extremely streamlined. ill do some research and see if I can find something similar.

Fiix CMMS seems pretty interesting. I'd actually love to know what you come up with. Goodluck!
