How do I make a unit complimentary?

My boss lets me have a unit for free. But I can't remember how to make complimentary.

I believe you can just set the rent to $0 in ledger settings.

Or during the move-in you set the rate to $0.

Same as the others above, I just set it to $0 rate for rent.

I have that in the discounts drop down menu, not sure if that was custom or not.

Be careful with this. If you set the unit rent to $0, then  when it is moved out, it stays at $0 and it can show as an available unit with a $0  rent. Best to set this at a discount, which has it's own challenges in SL, but better then an accidental free unit showing-up on the web site later on when it is moved out.

You set the CUSTOMER unit rate to $0, not the actual unit rental rate.  Then it is correct when the customer is moved out.
