Prepay for unit in advance option?

Is there a way for a tenant to prepay for a unit when they do not need it for a couple more weeks? If so, how does it affect the unit inventory?

    You can change the move-in date to a future date.  It won't show rented until that date.  However, customer won't have access until that date, and cannot change their mind before the move-in date.  It can't be undone.

    We did that 1 time, and they changed their mind and wanted a refund.  After that the owner does not let us, we just offer them to "reserve" the unit up to 2 weeks and pay a non-refundable deposit.  The fee will roll over into the move-in charges once they rent the unit. Get all of their info in advance and save the card in the Leads page.  Never had a problem and this will also take the unit out of inventory.

    At this point, they can rent it today or reserve it for tomorrow.  Beyond that, they have to wait and see what's available.  My inventory is far too low to let anything sit 2 weeks not bringing in money!  But at least this is an option for those who choose to do it this way.
