Does anyone use Verizon Hotspot for their Internet?

With the economy the way it is, we are trying to save money where we can.  Just wondering if anyone has tried or uses the Verizon Hotspot for their internet?  We are running about 20 cameras, our gate, computer, and printer for our internet.  I am worried the signal I get on my cell phone (not good) will be the type of internet I receive.

I wouldn't recommend any cellular internet for a business, unless there is no other option.
Although signal strength can be dealt with, it is often just flaky and your data gets deprioritized when you want it the most. It would probably be fine for running Sitelink, but if you need to view the cameras  or access the gate remotely, it may occasionally get very slow.

That said, if you don't need to access the equipment remotely, it doesn't have to be on the internet, just the local network and won't be directly affected by your internet.

    Just my experience and opinion.

My daughter was using it just for some videos for her kids until internet is set up in her new place.  She reached her max usage in less than 2 weeks!  So I'm not sure it's feasible.

Your signal on your phone will be exactly what you get.  I ran a facility on Verizon for a year or so and it was fine for SL and gate control but cameras were a problem with the amount of data transmitted.
We now use a local wireless internet provider at a cost of $85 per month.  You could also look at Starlink but the purchase price and monthly fees are high.

WISPs (Wireless ISP) are are great, if you have one in your area. The cost and speed usually match or exceed cellular, and the reliability is usually very good.
