Is there a way to EDIT proof of insurance without canceling?

Am I missing something? Tenants are updating their expired proof of insurance and the only method I am finding is to cancel proof entirely click on OK, click on the next OK, say yes to taking another payment, go back into the tenant insurance section, and create the policy number and all of the info again. Why can't I just update the expiration dates, if nothing else has changed?  I thought this new (to me) auto-protect plan was supposed to cut down on operator time spent.

It's a hassle, but the only way is to cancel and then add again.  I stopped putting in the expiration date, so it never ends that way.

I ran into an issue: I'm trying to go in and do that but it will not let me save without providing an end date
It's in the setup.  Your company must require it.  Mine doesn't.

I thought it would be handy that the insurance company would monitor expiration dates, and in part it is because customers are being reminded by the Insurance company that they need to provide proof again or they're going to get ours. Since my company is basing our bonuses on our ability to keep a percentage of tenants on our insurance, this was ideal, until I noticed what a pain it is to simply update. I guess I was hoping to get something for nothing! LOL

Thank you so much for this because I didn't know that was an option! I have several monthly that I screenshot so I have it handy without pulling 15 files, then update the expiration dates.

I think mine is doing the same thing. and there's no way to remove the start date and leave it blank.

Setup>right side of the screen says insurance and protection plans, find your insurance and click on settings (gear).

Looks like if you check Apply at Move-in, you can't uncheck Require end date on Proof.  Annoying.

Yes, I noticed mine are greyed out so it must be something my insurance set up with corporate. I agree it is so annoying.

Requiring insurance or proof of insurance better add some revenue because it is sure adding to the workload!
It doesn't look like there is a Report on expiring insurance or any way to track which policies expire each month.  How have you handled that?

With Sitelink, when you enter the expiration date, ours is set up to show up under reminders 30 days prior to expiration date prompting us to send out the insurance expiring soon notice
