New eSign

Not. A. Fan.
The prior eSign for leases was quick and easy. Why update something that worked just fine? This new version is a little more complex, and more time consuming. We don't use a signature pad, but do signing on a touch-screen laptop. Apparently, now we have to do the text-font option instead of a customer signature.
It'd be nice if other bugs were fixed instead of feeling the need to update things that are good as they are.

At least yours is working. Our new esign is completely broken and doesn't even display our rental agreement. What a complete failure0

@GlenMark - You should be able to 'draw' with a mouse or touchscreen monitor. Once you click on a signature keyword, 2 options should be available to use: Draw or Text (see the screenshot). Please let us know if this isn't the experience you are seeing and give us a call to troubleshoot.

There is more clarification needed if I'm emailing contracts. The draw signature feature is tricky for tenants. However, it's a great improvement over the previous update...which was not usable. I so agree, the original version was the best.0

storable_support, yeah I figured out the touchscreen signature portion. I had printed out a lease summary yesterday after renting a unit and it had "PROVISIONAL" displayed over the entire summary. That has since ceased to be. I haven't emailed a lease for a tenant to sign yet, so we'll see what transpires from that.
What wasn't broken didn't need to be fixed. With SiteLink's history, it means more issues will arise from this.1 -
@GlenMark - Thank you for your feedback about the “Provisional” watermark. Printing a document before it’s fully signed is a new feature that allows you to share draft versions with tenants or keep a record before all signatures are complete. The "Provisional" overlay was added to ensure it's clear that these documents are not yet finalized. We have updated our FAQ to address the overlay.
We understand that changes like these can be disruptive, especially when you’re used to a particular workflow. Please know that we're closely monitoring feedback and are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

@storable_support thanks for the responses. As far as the provisional overlay, my initial complaint came after a lease and its summary had already been signed. I haven't had any issues with it since though.
Per the signature portion, I've come to like this a bit more.
Overall workflow is a still a bit slower than the previous version, however, we are making due.0 -
It would be nice if the esign worked. I still have a 50/50 chance if the agreement even displays correctly so it can be filled out.0
