What internet speed is recommended for SiteLink?  Our SiteLink always seems to be so slow.

We recently changed from 15Mb to 300Mb internet, and it made no noticeable difference to the speed of normal Sitelink operations. I think much of the seeming slowness is on the server end of things.

If a refresh is taking very long (more than 20 seconds or so), there may be an issue with your database. It is not common, but can happen. In Sitelink, you can click on Tools, Diagnostics, and run either Standard or Network diagnostics to see if it reports any issues. System Up Time and firewall port 443 sometimes fail on our systems but don't seem to effect anything.

I run SL Web Edition on wifi and on 5G LTE pretty often and it still seems pretty quick to operate.  The database for my 17 year-old facility definitely loads slower than the newer ones, but still fast enough.
Every 6 months I will go to Company>Utilities CTRL>Shift D and defrag the local databases, then do both data refreshes on the same page.
