Self Insured Expiring Notification

I know 99.99% of our requests get overlooked....I also know it's the tenant's job to keep up with their account. With that being said, it would be extremely helpful if in the Reminders screen it would show notifications when tenants who are self insured are about to expire. I have now had 2 tenants who were defaulted to Bader insurance due to theirs expiring and they ended up having to pay because you cannot delete the insurance charge in the current month. I have nearly 600 tenants and I cannot go thru every account everyday to check expiration dates. I also don't 100% fault my tenants. As long as you are paying your premiums, they auto-renew yearly and I don't even think I, as a customer with a chaotic enough life, think, oop, let me call my storage and update my insurance info. I saw there is a way to turn off the expiration option and was considering asking boss lady to do that, but what if they don't renew it, what if they switch companies, etc....WE NEED SOMETHING USEFUL ON THE REMINDERS SCREEN PLZ!

Hi @ESS - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—with nearly 600 tenants to manage, it’s understandable that keeping track of insurance expirations manually is a challenge.
While the current process focuses on notifying tenants directly to update their insurance, we completely see how a notification on the Reminders screen would make your life easier. Your suggestion has been shared with our product team.
In the meantime, here are some of the safeguards already in place for tenants enrolled in auto-protect:- 30-Day Notice: Tenants are notified via email that they need to update their proof of insurance or they’ll be enrolled in your store’s insurance.
- Submission Portal: The email includes a link to an easy-to-use portal where tenants can submit their insurance details.
- Follow-Up Emails: Additional reminders are sent 7 days before enrollment and again 24 hours prior.
You can see the auto-protect tenant experience here. We know this doesn’t fully solve the issue you raised immediately, but please know your feedback is valued and heard.
