recent update caused printer problems

hello all- a recent update has caused issues with the program (SLWE) losing all networked printers every day or so.
Same pc can find all printers when using any other program, its only this machine, and sitelink that drops the printers.
The only fix so far is a complete pc restart.
I have two other desktops in the office that don't exhibit this behavior- is this driving anyone else nuts? 
Is there any known fix?
