Planning Board Approves Self-Storage Facility [Article]

NORTH PROVIDENCE – The Planning Board last Wednesday granted conditional master plan approval for a new self-storage facility at 1204 Douglas Ave.
Conditions include:
• The Town Council approving a comprehensive plan amendment and a zone change.
• The Zoning Board granting a variance and special use permit.
• Applicant Douglas Avenue Associates and U.S. Development II LLC submitting for an easement for the abutting driveway to Shaw’s.
• And the addition of landscaping on the 30-foot buffer between the back of the lot and homes on Cushing Street.
