DaVinci Lock Users

Has anyone found a work around to still use the Davinci Locks and not have to pay their high fees that they just implemented this year.  I've seen some FB posts where e people are managing their own locks now or the software they are using has an integration for locks.  It would be really nice if @Sitelink would come up with something.  Everyone charging or raising their monthly fees is really adding up and I don't think it's right to pass it off to the tenants.

It may not be entirely what you need, but Sitelink has lock code management.

Under 'Company', 'Modify Units', there should be 'Batch Edit Unit Locks' on the right hand menu.

Tenants would have to contact your office instead of Davinci to get the code.

I actually have a meeting with them tomorrow. This is one of the issues we will be discussing= in addition to the reliability of the actual locks and customers failing to receive their codes.
I am not aware of any way to work around them that makes any sense. If you don't have the monthly fee you pay double for the locks and would have to keep some kind of spreadsheet.

Well.... I've never noticed that and having trouble figuring out how it works..  I'll have to look into that..  Thank you!

It would be really nice if Sitelink would implement something.  As expensive as the software is getting it would be really nice to have some new perks!

That option is grayed out for me.  Doesn't matter since we're leaving Sitelink in a couple months.  But I don't have the option to use that feature!

It might require 'electronic locks' turned on.

Setup, Units and Tenants, Electronic Locks. Check the box.

As far as I can tell, all it does is enable that lock management screen.

We are switching to Cubby.  This was a corporate decision and they didn't ask for my input!  :'(

You're going to be waiting a loooong time. What has it been, about 15 years and Sitelink still doesn't have the promised credit card chip reader. Ever since storable bought them out, new features have pretty much come to a standstill.

Our new software has had more features roll out the last six months than Sitelink has the last ten years.

About your only option is to export your locks to excel spreadsheet and manually keep them updated. Tenants won't get a email/text when they sign up but about half my tenants never got the text anyways so no real loss there.

More good news. Was sending in a new lock order and the lock price is almost doubled
