Reservation - NO Shows

How many reservations turn into tenants?  I have been in the storage business 15 years and worked at several locations and at all locations 50% of reservations were no shows.

We do not take reservations, so I can't answer your questions; however, I would think taking a reservation fee would decrease the no-shows ... if that is your goal.

We take a $5 reservation fee, that holds the unit for 2 weeks. We still get some who still won't show, but not often.

We have a few no shows but not many. We require a $25 non-refundable reservation fee so we still make a small profit on no shows. Most of the time the reservation is kept for 2-3 weeks before expiring. During our busy summer months we only hold units for a week. June & July rentals are first come first serve as we have very limited availability.
