Discounts not displaying in ledger settings

Why cant we see the senior or military discounts in our ledger settings anymore?

Also when I go to edit charges and payments, it looks like I could still set them up for a discount, which would be a double discount because the rate already reflects the discount. Super confusing!

The discount name was likely removed by a rate increase.  If you increase a tenant with a non-expiring discount, the discount plan is removed as it no longer applies to the rate increase.

That makes sense but, how do I prove the discount exists?

The discount is now the difference between the standard rate and tenant rate.

How do I prove it to the customer? It no longer shows on receipts, I am already fielding phone calls, and this has proved to be somewhat confusing. I really appreciate your answers. :
