We love using e-sign. It make rentals much quicker & they can move in online.

I like e-sign, because it saves us paper and its quick! However I think there should be a Print & E-sign button for those customers who don't feel comfortable with E-sign.

Question.... Sitelink has pre-drawn signatures. How does this hold up legally? Who can say that I didn't just click accept for the customer?

Hello @PSC, that's a great question. Electronic signatures are legally binding in the U.S. and many countries. The great thing about SiteLink eSign is not only does it make your life easier, it also allows you to create this legally binding document with a certificate and forensic audit trail. 

Two compliance acts passed by congress, Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), establish that electronic records and signature have the same effect as paper and handwritten signatures.

If the document is created without the customer's knowledge, it could be treated like fraud and you would be liable like any other forged signature on a printed lease.
