Entering Auction Date

New user here.  Is there a way to 1) enter an auction date/time so that I can automatically fill the field in lien notification letter, and 2) print report of auctions scheduled?

You can use <Date.InsertPromptAuction>  or <Date.InsertPromptAuctionWithTime>

Also the best thing to do is create a task to schedule the auction dates. This way you can click on your tasks and simply print out the list of those that are scheduled either before your process them or under the reverse task list.

Take a look in Setup ---> Past Due Schedule.

Schedule Auction should be listed along with your Late fee, Overlock, Lien schedules etc. You can setup which form/letter to send along with the trigger date and so forth.

I may have misunderstood your question, in which case Orkocean explained how to add the date prompts into a letter through Form Setup.
