Does anyone know if one can e-mail lets say the first late payment reminder to 11 customers all at once instead of one by one.

Yes. Go to the payments screen, click on Letters, type in the units one-by-one in top right field, and check them off as you go, click on the letter you wish to send (Past Due Notice), select email, then Process

If you go to Setup: Past Due Schedule you can create an event for the number of days past due that you use for that letter.  Then in the reminders, it will pop up and when you process you select only the email option and send them all at once.
