storlogix multiple unit lock out

My tenant who is up to date on 2 of his current units, came in and rented another but didnt need it until the 1st of the month to store his vehicle. signed lease, paid all set. except now the gate code is locked until the move in date of the new unit, he couldnt access his any of his units. Why? how to fix? I changed it to never lock out for now. But I dont believe this should be an issue

When the move in was completed, not sure if you linked the units but did you verify it didn't change his gate code.  I know it has happened here before, just a thought.

Setup > Access Setup > In the center, look at Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3.

Our rule here is that they have NO access if any unit is past due.  But you can select your choice there.

When you do a rental with a future date it will always show suspended in Sitelink until their move-in date
Usually is not a problem unless they show up early or they have other units- You will need to set them to never lock out until their move in date

Code was correct, all units were linked and payed up to date. Just what I thought, I'll just have to keep selecting never lock out. Which should not be and then I have to remember  to uncheck it once he moves in. A glitch for sure and inconvenient
