stand alone not compressing back up

using the stand alone version and have for many years. computer has windows 10 and when we do back up it will not compress the file or save it to usb drive. Any info would help a lot!!!!

I have always called the tech support directly for this type of issue. It sounds like a setting may be off. Have you already tried resetting the database though? That may magically fix it without having to call...
