Filling a previous manager's shoes

What do you do to clean sand and debris from your isle ways.
We are getting a lot of sand and dirt down our isles. I have used a portable blower in the past, but stuff by door gets blown into units. Units get enough dust as it is. Looking for a different option. Any ideas are welcome. I have thought about street sweeper, but I don't think they get sand at bottom of doors.
