Editing Lease
Hi I've done this before, but it's been a long time. I want to change the day that we overlock units. I watched the training video about key words, but how do I put in the day I want to use? Right now it's says day 15 and I want to change it to 11. Thanks so much

Looking to replace my Spiderdoor....any ideas or suggestions?
Hi everyone! I installed Spiderdoor a while back, but it's just not for me...not looking to bash them in any way, so please don't ask. However, I'm wondering what other people are doing or suggest for gate software/controller. I basically just need a new keypad and software for it. We used to have Digigate, and now I'm…

Aged Receivables
Discovered an issue in Sitelink where transfers (any and all) create a receivables trail. Regardless of whether the person is in good standing in their account or has moved out, the previous unit shows them as owing money. This problem was sent to support who of course believed that I was simply doing something wrong. Not…

How hard can it be to keep Sitelink on top of the windows stack?
How hard can it be to have Sitelink programmers make it so the program stays on the top screen and doesn't dive behind any and all open windows. I have pleaded with the folks in support to have this corrected. My pleas fall on deaf ears. For the love of Pete, we are time strapped people in the storage industry. When we…

Avery label problem
Has anyone else experienced this problem with printing labels in SiteLink. When we print labels the first row at the top of the labels page is perfect then with each subsequent row the address moves higher up the label and is not usable. This results in us being only able to use the first row of labels and the last row (by…

Notification of Online Rental
One year into this and I still can't "program" SL to get the information I need for an Online Rental. Gatecode in a format we use. Phone number of Alternate Contact which is very important. Insurance form issues if taking out insurance. And most important is notification of online rental. If I can get a phone call for a…

How should take care of a ERROR 6006 from DigiGate?
Good afternoon, as I open the store this morning, there was a msg about update for windows, nothing wrong with that. After, I restarted the system and DigiGate was doing its refresh, the error 6006 came up. I did an update on the gate and on the utilities but the error keeps pupping up. Any suggestion's!

Getting to 100% occupancy
as background...my son and I own and operate three small storage facilities in Canada all within 15 minute drive of one another. He manages one and I manage two. I use a great report that appears in my inbox every morning that lists all the vacant units at all three sites. This is invaluable to ensure we offer potential…

Prorating in
Hello everyone!!! Currently our company has it set to have all rents due on the 1st of the month. When a new tenant rents from us we prorate them in and they are due on the 1st for the next month. The issue we are having is the new tenant rents their unit on say the 26th of the month and pays a SUPER low rent charge and a…

Session Timing Out
I've been getting some feedback from tenants using the online portal to pay; they keep reporting that when they attempt to pay, they get a "session timed out" or "session expired" message, and their payment does not go through. Is that something that is set here, on the Payments tab? Does having it at "0" mean that they…

When to build new units? I think I’m there.
Hey all I just have a few questions and like opinions. I’ve owned my storage business since 2017. When I acquired it we were right around 65%-70% occupancy. Within that year or so I’ve had it up to 85%+ occupancy. The current facility isn’t a huge one at 116 units, but I have the land and room to build an additional 25…

Storables NEW CC PROCESSING
I have so much to say about the new way to enter and capture credit/debit card information for auto pay. I have only had it for 2 weeks, but here is what I am seeing: Forcing us to go through the tenant screen, instead of the payment screen to update or add a credit card is foolish and sets us up for numerous mistakes. If…

Lien Notices via email in CA
I know in the State of California, certified lien notices can be sent to tenants via email. I do believe one has to go through a third party verification system though? Does SiteLink offer anything that would allow my facility to begin sending these notices electronically? Thanks in advance.

Sitelink Closed on Saturday ??
Called the usual number for Sitelink Tech Support, pressed 2 for Tech Support, was passed to Sparefoot whose recording said we're closed and please leave your message. Interesting, but al least I didn't have to listen to their awful "waiting" music.
